Cowhorn Saop dishes

This beatiful soap dish is made out of cowhorns by artisans. They represent the powerful collaboration of nature’s resources and skilled artisanship and their ability to make something truly beautiful.
We have two different styles to choose from.

Cowhorn has been used by East Africans for centuries who appreciate it for its hardness as well as its ability to become soft and pliable when heated. This soap dish was handcarved and then shaped and molded at high temperatures. They have been sanded, polished and then sealed with a food-safe lacquer for a smooth and beautiful shiny finish.
